hey everyone as mentioned in a previous post. i took up photography and i think this is the best place for this topic, anyone else aside from me into it?

ill be putting up my photos soon. this is my photo thread keep it clean.

I don't know where to start 
I love taking pics as that is 1 of my many tasks when on holiday 

I want to get 1 of them slr cameras but don't know which is best for a noobie like me.

I like taking pics of ...landscape, zoomed in with focus and portarit(sucked in eng)

i got a canon Xs. i do recommend canon because these have very good quality, and you wont have horrific prices on lenses. i think it was nikon that have good camera but lenses are so expensive.

anyway canon are nicely prices, good lenses and have been doing it a long time. cameras to look at in there range are the 500D, 450D and 400D i think mines a 400D, mines labled as Xs cause i bought it overseas.

ok next up, the coolest way to get around the town, love these guys, streetcars, they run vertically and horizonally along every street.

im craving these from time to time, beaver tails! its a light pastry that float fried in canola oil then sugar, maple syrup and a variety of stuff is added, mine had all the above plus chocolate and hazelnuts, i would kill for another no jokes.

keeping up on food, when i was in niagra falls i had a bears claw, similar to the beaver tail but a slightly different pastry, had it with chocolate and hazelnuts again, much more messy to eat though, they're awsome as well though.
