Biggest game stuff ups ever!

so anyone has any games that were way hyped up and on release just sunk deeper then the titanic?

i gotta say Command and Conquer 4 was a colossal stuff up, for all the hype about a new style and story line coming to a end, the story was like omg what happens to Kane! he waves his hand and says good bye.
as for game, theres 1 style, capture and hold nodes, no resource gathering means you can spam  click unit so its spam wars without concern for keeping units alive and really u just move from point to point capturing and stealing.

KOFXII, biggest hype up in 2D fighting game communities for as long as I've been in them, and it was an utter let down with crappy interface, crappy netcode, poorly done AI, lack of boss, lack of extra contents for console version, lack of story, lack of just about anything and everything.

I agree with you Kaden. I tried it out on a friends PC, I mean it doesnt feel like a CC game at all! its too Supreme Commander'y which isnt a bad thing but the problem I hate Supreme Commander!  And that crap thing about collecting crystals that gives you upgrades. WHAT THE HELL IS THAT?! i miss CC3 already! What a let down!

Def a let down game. Look if you gotta versus each other its actually great fun but playing single player yourself sux since theres barely nothing to do the game at all. The extra content I saw on the PSN is even more shocking they just sell music and thats it. Meh. Paying a full price for just an Arcade port with no content sux. Hopefully KOFXIII is much better.

revs lived forever so damn long awaited let down. can no one make decent games nowadays, hopefully starcraft2 is good otherwise the koreans will start a war!

C&C4 - i loved how in all the movies tiberium is over running the planet! wtf will we do! oh and every map theres no tib except for a plane that drops a small splinter of it every now and again. als othe scrin got bored they were like yeah free planet awsome! ok guy im bored lets all pull out

Resident Evil 5
I was a massive fan off RE 1 - 4 and was so excited that 5 would be using 4's control system. Somewhere along the ling they seriously stuffed up and shouldn't have called it Resident Evil 5. The characters were unnecessary tanks (control) and there was nothing RE about it except for the names.

@Graham. RE5 isnt that bad but although I agree its no way as good as RE4 thats for sure.

Gotta add FFXII - That game was like an MMORPG but an offline mode version. It didnt even feel like FF at all. No way as epic storyline as FFX. Music was nic and great characters as well but such a waste in terms of gameplay and such.
