Wanted to prove a theory so googled "anime south africa" and you guys ended up very close to the top. That's how I found this place by the way.

Im a huge comics fanboy, so expect some pretty biased opinions, LOL. In addition to that, i like my Mecha & Sport anime.

I am always on the look out for more South African anime communities - you guys are a SA community right? Also by your name, I assume you are in some affiliated to LO Magazine. I remember reading those a few years ago, were really good, still have one or two I think. Does the magazine still exist?

Anyway see you guys around.

EDIT: Oh, one more thing. What are the credits (I have 50 apparently) & Karma used for?

lol... Yeah, this is most definitely an SA forum (but the rest of the world is welcome to join in too ).

Awesome to see that you've read the LO Magazines - this be the forum for ze mag (sadly though, it's been out of production for a good few years now). Glad to see some regulars still sticking around the forum though.

The credits are still a work in progress, since there's not much to buy with 'em (Alucard's gonna add a few goodies when he finds time ). Karma points are given up other users, if they feel your post was uber informative, helpful, etc (negative Karma for fail posts I reckon).

Magazine went a few years back, but thats a story Bone can tell, before my time here, no we are purely online.

I should also mention that this is not the final site, we are still waiting for the final release of smf at which point we will upgrade and improve our service.

Also feel free to suggest improvements for the site.
