Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands

Ubisoft has just announced that a new instalment in the popular Prince of Persia: Sands of Time series will be available in May 2010.

The new game, titled Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands, is currently in development for consoles and handhelds.

So far we know that The Forgotten Sands will feature “many of the fan-favourite elements from the original series as well as new gameplay innovations that gamers have come to expect from the Prince of Persia brand.”

I quite liked the current gen Prince of Persia, but I do agree. Just wish I played Warrior Within and The Two Thrones.

Ag, got stuck with that elevator fight in the 1st PoP (of the trilogy), and so never picked up the other 2 titles. :/

Ah NeoN you were almost at the end. Use Gamefaqs. Its up for a reason. Use it!

I see its ups and downs. I see their good old combat system has returned but the graphics could have been better as far as I can see but at least it looks def better than thier previous game.

Finished this game awhile ago. Much much better than the 2008 PoP game.

Platform in the game is back to its old original trilogy of PoP. Combat is like hack and slash type and lots of enemies on screen like Dynasty Warriors.

Theres some decent swords moves in between and you can jump over enemies similar like the Sands of Time but you cant hold two swords which is a pity but at least its have 4 magic powers you can use in the game.

Bosses are very little to offer though since the battling style quite the same. Theres a couple of boss battles you get to fought but mostly of them in the same way to defeat them but the last Boss battle was freakin epic I must say!

Storyline is good which the sand taking over the palace which feels similar to Sands of Time but theres no Farah this time around. Would been nic to see them interact like the older titles.

Voice acting is great, nothing much to say about it and the main characters voice is back once again from the Original  trilogy .

Musical score was simply well done. It goes really well to the game.

Overall a solid title to play.
