This is my passion and hobby, being a DotA comp player (LAN and online) for 2+ years now. ^_^

Basically DotA is a WarCraft 3 map, meaning you'll have to have WarCraft 3 as well as it's expansion (The Frozen Throne) installed on your PC before you can play it.

I'm currently part of clan DUCoRe aka DuC (merger of DUC, stands for 'Do U Cee'... got it from a South Park epi >_<, and CoRe). :P Been with this clan since the start of my comp gaming career. 8)

NeoN, dont you ever get bored of DotA, its just the same thing over and over and OVER >_< The DotA bug never bit me. I'll play it now and then, but dont have a copy of Warcraft atm, so yea. .  I don't get the attraction.  :-\

I thought the same at first, but played some at LANs and enjoyed it. Some of those maps take serious skill!

Yes, I know it takes skill, and I also think you require alot of knowledge of the characters imo. Since you need to know who works best with who, and who can actually beat other characters etc. I have seen my friends play >_< Oh and know what abilities they have so you know what to expect. Meh.

It never gets old Farah. Especially when you vs the players and match always gets different. I need to play DotA again havent played it almost a year now. :(

lol... With 90+ charz making up the roster, there's always something different. :P Plus, I play competitively so I practice alot. >_<

^ Got to try it out last night and it's definitely very cool. Works great, but the only flaw is that when you exit war3, it doesn't close the war3.exe process in Task Manager - so if you try open war3 again, it says there's already an instance open (so you'll have to go to Task Manager and manually close the process). X_x Hope they fix this bug soon.
