What did you think about the new Alice in Wonderland?

Right, second time Im writing this all out. The internet really hated me this morning. . >_>

So. I went spying on the imdb forums in the wee hours of this morning reading up on topics about the new Alice movie, and found that there is a vast number of people who hated the movie. And then I got really peeved at the things they started saying about the movie for eg:
1: They say Tim Burton has completely lost his touch at movie making
2: He stole his idea completely from American Magee's Alice (which apparently in the credits of the game, they actually say thanks to Tim Burton)
3: They said that Mia, who played Alice, was very bland and did a very bad job at portraying Alice
4: The only good character in the film was the cat. Well he was pretty awesome ^^
5: They went as far as to bring racism into it, saying white = good and dark colours = bad. Which I think is utter bs.
6: Then one of the most shocking, they compared the movie to the Twilight saga!! WTF??
7: Someone somewhere complained about the music, which I actually liked, one of the few movies who's music I payed attention to while watching.
8: Oh they moaned aswell that there seemed to be a romantic relationship between Alice and the Hatter, and during interviews with the cast they said its a pure brother/sister relationship.
9: And the ending was unrealistic.

Come on. I know theres not one thing that will make everyone happy, but they are going overboard. Its a Disney movie. Its suppose to be light, fun and unrealistic. It was never supposed to be an Oscar nominated film.

Yeah, I read the hate too, but ignored 'em. This was my 1st "Alice" exp, like ever (cause Kingdom Hearts was just borrowing the characters, and thus not a true representation). I thought this movie was very, very cool. Didn't know what to expect, and so was pleasantly surprised.

As for those points...
3 - No idea what the source-material Alice was like, but I rate Mia did a fantastic job.
4 - Totally disagree, tons of memorable charz.
6 - Maybe they referring to how awesome both movies are? pewpew~ >_<
7 - The music was solid, but nothing memorable.
8 - I wouldn't call it a brother-sister relationship but it def wasn't a romantic one.
9 - lol... only the ending? The whole movie stretches the imagination.
