Why Codie, Why!?

 I was riding the entire year on Chromium-Tan and Rage.
 After riding 2 years trying to get a Collection's and Futaba approved and untaken project...

 I wont be going anymore - Chromium won't ever exist - and I now am stuck with a Chromium-Tan costume without any purpose anymore.  The OneOfAKind OS-Tan Costume will now be locked up in my safe  - will be mailed to my Brother's Environment Controlled Storage.

 Because I couldn't afford Rage NAG Tickets at all - this project can no longer succeed  -  I will not maintain my art from this day onwards as I will not want to be reminded of this ever again. I couldn't get my boss to help me advance or pay the tickets.

 I ended up with 3 out of 4 tickets ( Model, Guy1, Guy2) , none for me.  The only other ticket I could find is this guy in Cape Town selling for 600R.  I cant afford it - I have already paid the costume out of my pocket, and the posters.

 My time here on LoMag was brief, it was good.   

 Sorry guys, unless a miracle happens - Im gone, ill be back after work to clean up my previous art posts tomorrow.


 The world will just be left with Regular Chrome-Tan to represent ChromeOS, ChromiumOS, and the web browsers - as well as the Android Relationships via Google-Tan.

 I was just so fucking close to getting these endorsements, and potentially establishing a recognized Os-Tan to be the first to come from South Africa.

As for rAge LAN tickets, read this a few days back on the rAge forums...

“If you have extra tickets, you may sell them directly to us at a cost of R300 per ticket. We will organise delivery/collection at our own cost.
If you didn't manage to get a ticket and are desperately looking for one, we will sell you one at a cost of R300 per ticket. In this case, you will likely need to organise delivery/collection. This is provided that we have extra tickets to sell, of course.
In both cases, please contact Lauren Das Neves at lauren at nag dot co dot za. The sooner you contact her with your sob stories, the higher up the list you'll be.”

Dude I am really sorry to hear so. I cannot even begin to imagine how you must feel.

I do have one bit of advice: instead of "throwing it all away" rather take a break from drawing for a few weeks or even months and then come back to it. It seems like drawing is a passion to you and I really hope you don't fully stop.
I'm speaking for all of us on LO when I say that you are a fantastic and gifted artist - don't let one bad deal let it all go to waste.

 Louren Emailed....

 Scalper also reported ( R600 for a ticket I can't afford, I payed a total of over R1,400 ( excluding the other 3 tickets that were needed) on miss Chromium-Tan already, so I'm pretty broke now )

 I highly doubt this will work.

 I haven't heard of any Icon Events either since Otaku Mag vanished... so I don't have other potential publicity options I can think of.

 My previous project for E-2046 also failed before I started Chromium ( it was flatly rejected ) - so I  doubt ill be drawing again after this - it has been a harsh year of 'more downs' than ups for this.

 I still have to pay for Chromium's boots -_-

  Yesterday I got decked by "Dude #1" from the Chromium Project......  It seems I am not allowed to close my own project -_-

 Still no ticket for Rage - so It will be pointless. I have no choice anyhow.

 A new OS-Tan is on the "grab before someone else does"  list -_-


 Last Night a chick ended up hitting on me at the Keg.....

 WTF is wrong with me D:
