Nay. I'm honestly not convinced on motion controller products.

Look at the Wii as an example:
 • The motion is shoddy
 • While the system sells millions, 99% of the games are utter tripe
 • No developer takes it seriously.

Sure, Peter Molyneux is behind it, but when's the last time he made a game that wasn't all talk?

Yay if it works well and the games are made to use it properly.

Def yay~ ...but am skeptical until we see a live-demo.

I read an interesting article on one gaming-news site that said developers better not start making any and all games use this new tech - cause who wants to play Assassins Creed where you're forced to perform the actual running around. :P

I'm thinking the same about the PlayStation Move as well. It seems to be a 99% rip-off of the Wii.

So PC gaming is lowering, consoles are appealing to the masses and many games these days are poop. Are we seeing the beginning of another North American video game crash of 1983? Or just a new generation of poo?

I dont know about this with the Project Natal. I think invented something like this is too soon for this current generation dont you think? I mean think about it. 360 uses Dual Layer DVDS and all the latest games is becoming too big and I wonder how they gotta use it for current games on it.

I'm thinking the same about the PlayStation Move as well. It seems to be a 99% rip-off of the Wii.

I agree even the way you hold the remote as well. :P

I'm just looking forward to doing some proper sword fighting with the PS3 motion controllers. Those would have been ideal for heavy rain. I think the Wii's controllers are a little too gimmicky. Red Steel 2 does not look that exciting after watching the gameplay vids. It's like something is holding it back. I hope there's gonna be a PS3 clone.

I really appreciate what the Wii has done for the videogame industry but people will get bored. The games are after all, like Graham said, "tripe". It was a success because it was new and relatively cheap. Just think of Avatar. If it wasn't 3D and if it wasn't a watershed moment in the movie industry, where 3D is not standard, would it have been as successful? Especially since Natal and the Wands are coming out with, I assume, proper games.

Natal still looks like it'll be another Wii to me. People will like it because it has no controllers and has silly games.

Nothing I have seen of this has impressed me and I doubt anything ever will, I'll stick with my standard control, no point in buying a gaming chair if I'm never going to sit in it :p
