Ninja Gaiden 3

Tecmo Koei has announced Ninja Gaiden 3, revealing one image which teases what we can expect from the sequel.

Attending a behind-closed door reveal earlier today, the image of Ryo Hayabusa holds secrets of the game to come. Ryu is pulling off his mask to represent a more human side to the series' protagonist and the idea that players will discover more about him.

Ryu also has blood on his face, representing a more violent and bloody experience to Ninja Gaiden 2. You can also see a reflection of a person in Ryu's eye, perhaps suggesting an inner darkness which he is trying to contain - the likelihood is this darkness will manifest itself with new abilities.

Finally the flames represent Ryu's decent into a hellish realm and the hell he plans to unleash on his foes.

The game's currently without a firm release date or platforms.

Lets not count our chickens before they hatch.

Back when God of War 2 was still out kicking ass I asked what the Xbox had as an equivalent. Many people suggested Ninja Gaiden 2, some even saying that it was better.
So I tried out Ninja Gaiden 2. As a game on its own it was great, the best that the xbox had to offer but as a God of War replacement it was far inferior. They going to have to really pull out all the stops in this game.

Nonetheless, depending on its release date, I'll still probably get this. I hate console exclusives!!

Huh?

Ninja Gaiden is possible the best hack 'n slash franchise of all time, GOW pails in comparison to it. Everything in NG is done far better, enemies, combat, weapons, blood and gore, bosses, level design, music, characters etc.

This is honestly the first time I've ever seen anyone rate GOW on a higher level than NG. I understand that difficulty detracts people but damn

I prefer Ninja Gaiden than God of War any day since the game is really really fast pace action I ever played and keeps me going! Also its the best Ninja Game I ever seen as well.

Sure its hard but the controls is spot on and fast movements. Its all about your skills and strategy. Thats why I enjoy it.

Yeah I agree, NG destroys GOW in every department cannot wait for some gameplay footage on this.
