Chat about them!

I'm with Cybersmart on a uncapped account and 384Kbps line. I'm very happy with them and must say that gaming on it is good!

I have been waiting for hellkom for close to a year (the famous "no ports" story) and neotel told me that they can't promise me a proper connection due to my location and i'll have to buy an external connector with no promises.

@ the mo i'm using vodacom 3g. Since iburst is a little cheaper than 3g, i'll try it.

the best part is when i see telkom ads on tv.  :'(

Quoted from Quake Live thread

Have the 2 of you thought about getting Neotel or a copper ADSL? No offence to either, but iBurst is balls :D

Well, Neotel doesn't have its fast speed here for me, and I wanted portability. I had Iburst for a year and a half and I got great signal here, some hiccups now and then, but otherwise it worked pretty good at what I wanted to do with it.

@Cybernet - Ouch dude. :/

I've been with WebAfrica for about a year and a half now. Main reason being their incredible low rates for peeps who don't want a large cap - as well as the option to top-up on the fly.

Sporting a 384 line with 1GB Int cap, pluz 1GB local for R220-ish (incl line-rental). 8)

In December, before my current uncapped, I signed up with Digichilli for a 384 uncapped account. That same day I decided to rather see how big my Christmas bonus was, so I cancelled the account. A little while later they charged me, twice, for the account with them. After much bitch, moaning, shouting and a Hello Peter post I eventually managed to sort out the situation myself and get refunded.

They called me last week and asked if I wouldn't mind changing the status on Hello Peter since I was refunded. I flatly refused.

They called me up yesterday and offered me a week's free ADSL to try out their service again. Told them to send the details so I'll see what happens...
