Freedom - created as an animation for Cup-noodle's 35th anniversary, its more than just an advert - its a 7 part series with design work by the legendary Otomo Katsuhiro.

I've only watched the prologue, and ep 1, but so far it's a compelling watch. Earth has been blighted by climate shifts. Only the moon remains home to the last of humanity. After being sentenced to community service outside the colony for building an illegal racer (which caught fire), Takeru discovers a secret that... ah, well you'll just have to watch it yourself :P.

436-448. Been struggling lately, the prison episodes seem to be dragging on. Still got another five before they finally head to Marine HQ. T_T

^ Yeah, I really found that they seemed to take forever... and this is where I ran out (I hear things seriously get better in the next arc though...).

Naruto Shippuuden
220-236. Sigh, it's been pretty boring viewing - the crew traveling on a ship for so long to get to where they need to. After all the time waiting for 'em missing epi's, it's really disappointing. Was hoping they'd at least arrive by the time I ran out of episodes. T_T

449-510. You were right BB, the next arc totally owned - hence I was able to marathon so many episodes this long weekend. :) Am so glad to know that by next weekend I will have finished all the episodes I have!

Soul Eater epi 45
Glad Crona finally took some action on her own

Tales of the Abyss epi 06
Anime is based on a role playing game of the same name. So far interesting storyline. animation is good and they have cool/cute creatures in it  :)

^ Soul Eater is on the cards for early next year. Been sitting on it way too long...

Freedom - ep 5

Wardrobe Dwellers - cute short film about a lass who works as on office lady and lives on her own - until her mother sends her an old wardrobe (hmmm - actually it's a chest of drawers, but anyway...) that's been in the family for generations. A strange group of folk lives inside it, and teach her self-reliance.

511-525. Can you believe it, the new arc is even better than the Marine HQ one! 8) Am really glad I made the decision to start this anime, best!

And with last night's epi 525, I've now caught up on all the episodes I could possibly get as of now. 11 July - 21 December, just over five months of 1P madness... woohoo! lol

Now I gotta decide if I wanna rush through all the 1P movies/specials, or to finally start watching live-action action. >_<

The Sky Crawlers
Not what I was expecting, better I would say, since the storyline was way different yet absorbing. The aerial dogfights were done incredibly well too, which was the main reason I really wanted to watch this movie. Was a bit disappointed that it left a few things unanswered, but I guess that's what makes it all the more epic - leaving one thinking about the possibilities long after viewing it. 8)

Origins Spirits of the past
Awesome movie, the forest that's alive after experiments that were done on the moon have taken over the world and destroyed most of the human population. Agito one day discovers a sleeping girl in a pod thing in the forset, she's from the past and holds the key to changing the world back to it's original state. Humans can also make a deal with the forset for super human powers but this has a big catch to it. You have to watch the whole ending song cause there's two extra scenes.

Baldr Force EXE
4 epi OVA. People are able to access the net and be whoever they want to be were ever, something similar to the holo deck on Star Trek and the Matrix. Action packed and a good watch, wouldn't have minded it being a bit longer, felt slightly rushed.

What are you watching?

Finished Infinite Stratos. Not the greatest of shows, typical harem show with some pretty average mecha fights thrown in. They should have ended it after the Beach episode (#9) in my opinion, was the highlight of the show. That final batlle in the last 3 eps where pretty brutal to watch.

What are you watching?

Started & finished Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae o Bokutachi wa Mada Shiranai aka Ano Hana. OMG, this anime is good. Its been recieving critical & fans praise left, right and center all year (it debuted April 2011) and for damn good reason. There was a meme floating around mentioning that if you didn't shed a tear for Ano Hana than you are a cold hearted monster and while I found the story pretty emotional and moving, it never brought me to tears... UNTIL the final episode that is: OH MY GOSH, this episode would have made Genghis Khan cry.
And the best part, its not tears of sadness, I was happy, its a great ending almost disney-like, very touching.

Naruto Shippuuden: Bonds (Movie 2)
Was awesome to see machinery in Naruto, and then it was more awesome to see how ninjitsu skills can so easily take 'em down. :P As always, there was the emotional element, showing Naruto rise to the challenge, fighting for his beliefs.
