Lost Planet 2
Finished it this afternoon. Pretty disappointing final boss, but the short chapter in space just before the finale was the highlight for me. Sadly, I can only recommend this one to fans of the prequel.

Got two new weapons last night, the sword (rather than the hammer) and the gun (I went for the long-range rifle over the pistol). So now, combined with my fireball attack, I'm geared to kick ass. hehe. What I've now noticed is that there is a ton of running around to do. I'm already at the 3rd place on the map for my 1st actual quest - which netted me my weapons. Gotta admit though, the camera is not to my liking, it's giving me a headache - with all the ups, downs and turns of traveling. X_x

Been getting a ton of game-time in. Really enjoying it now, esp after the tutorial on how to access optional missions - whereas before I was running around aimlessly, hence the headache. Just got the ability to use two spells at once, I've opted for lightning and ice since they both rain down from the sky.

Finished it last night - but mainly thanks to an insane amount of gaming over the weekend. Had a ton of fun! Really appreciated the insta teleport for optional-quests saved me from getting bored walking all the way.

Batman: Arkham City
Started it last night. Jammed a couple of hours, exploring and doing training missions. Feels fantastic that the combat system picks up where the previous game left off. Seems to be a trend, games that have epic menu music turn out to be epic themselves - this game, Dues Ex. lol

Optional missions aren't what I expected - all of the ones I've come across, about 7-8 now, are ongoing ones, that you slowly complete as you explore new areas. Which in a way is cool, since there's incentive to explore.

Finished it last night on my final 3+ hour marathon. xD In the end I only "completed" 54% of the game - had five optional quests undone (which all required exploring the city in it's entirety). :/ Not the sorta ending I was expecting, which made it all the more awesome! Kudos to the sound-track, was epic all the way, thus making the experience all the more intense.

Man, having only finished 14 games last year (thanks goes to the AWX poll for making me check), I'm very surprised to find that I've already finished two games in under a month this year. 5-6 months of One Piece really took it's toll. lol

I still want to pick this up, but I'll wait for a Steam sale. I'm a big fan of 1 and 2.

The only thing I've been playing is Dawn of War II. Pick up both expansions for cheap, but have yet to really try them out.

I'm gonna be taking a break from gaming until I get my 360 controller for my PC. 360?! Say it isn't so! lol. I wanted a PlayStation-style controller but it's out of stock so I've now opted for a wired 360 black one. My buddy at work has sold me on it, after going in detail about how comfy it is when marathon-ing. Something I noticed with PS-style controllers is that my thumbs tend to slip off after getting sweaty, he mentioned with a passion, that the inward-design of the 360's sticks makes sure they don't slip.

Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood
Started it this evening. Played about half an hour, after reading through all the item/controls/enemy/etc guides. Managed to get a Logitech controller from a bud at work, 2nd-hand. Pretty cool that it picks up straight after the 2nd game.

I've just arrived back at the villa, and have done three random missions for a bit of story. Ezio feels all confident that the enemy has been slain and now it's time to chill.

Arrived in Roma, and tried exploring the View Points before doing the story-missions but it seems most of the area has been blocked off by that digital barrier, stopping me from exploring just yet. It's pretty cool though that this time round they have certain mission parameters, "the way Ezio did it" sorta thing. Thus if you do as instructed, like kill the oke by throwing him through the scaffolding, you'll get 100% synchronization for that mission. Adds that extra bit of a challenge, and it's welcome with open arms.

Think I made history yesterday by jamming 6.5-7 hours of AC. I've unlocked the ability to acquire rookie assassin's who I can then assign to do jobs around Europe - which earn me money and as they level up, they can tackle more difficult jobs. I'm truly blown away by this awesome new feature. Can't wait to jam some more, am addicted. xD lol

Been getting in an insane amount of gaming in lately. xD I rate I'm very near to the end. Already bought all the stores and buildings available, and finished up all the courtesan and thief optional-missions. Got one more Romulus tomb to explore as well as one more Truth Glyph to check out.

Was up til half 2 this morning trying to finish it but it wouldn't end. lol. Squeezed in almost two hours today to finally wrap it up. Really enjoyed the exp, no idea why peeps are hatin' on it. :/ Epic scene at the end with Desmond, looking forward to how it picks up in Revelations.
