What PC game are you currently playing or finished?

After playing a bit of World of WarCraft I have come to this very conclusion about it:

My God this game is boring!

Now I do have a pretty high tolerance for fetch quests, but not when it's 99% of the time.

I'll play on a bit to see if it gets better, but I have my doubts.

That's further than I ever made it Graham, we didn't even get to quests - just started fighting and dying. I hear you about 'em fetch quests, and I rate my tolerance is less than yours. >_< Keep us posted.

Going to uninstall World of WarCraft this evening. It's just not for me I'm afraid. I LOVE RPGs. I adore RPGs. World of WarCraft I don't like.

Started the insanely highly acclaimed StarCraft 2 - work buddy was kind enough to lend me his copy as well as logon details for the install (afterwards no CD or online needed). Finished a handful of missions and am loving it to bits, slowly building up my bonuses/perks (using munny collected after completing missions). Currently doing all the optional missions before going to the one for the storyline, as always.

Wow sounds like you're further than me already and I got the game on release day. Suppose I've only played it for a handfull of hours though.

So I eventually downloaded Alien Swarm and will hopefully give it a first run through after I fill myself with some breakfast.

Got in a few more missions of SC2 last night, fighting off the cold-fingers with every click of the mouse. >_< lol. Finally done with all current optional missions, which have netted me a ton of new units - one per optional mission. Gotta admit, with so many units now at my disposal, it's a lil overwhelming - so I usually build up an army of the new unit in said mission. Will need to think of a proper strat for the story-mission. Current progress: 13/26 missions.

^ haha, I bought me a pair of those fingerless gloves. perfect for late-night gaming (and coding ). Keeps my hands warm but I can still use a keyboard.

^ Made some make-shift gloves a few days ago, by cutting out the tips off older ones.

Had an SC2 marathon last night, from 19:30-midnight. >_< Was suppsoed to stop at 9pm for some DotA but after playing one more mission and than another and another, time sorta got away from me. lol. Currently busy with mission 22, saved in the middle of it as it was gonna take another half hour to finish.

I played till about 2am last night. Went to bed super depressed! as I took a (forced) risk at the end of a mission and it failed in my face. Protoss Motherships really suck!

EDIT: Is mission 22, Maw of the Void? (the one with the force field generators?) Thats the mission I played last night and made me depressed. blew up in my face right at the, was probably 3 banshee attacks away from victory

Ouch dude, soz to hear. Yeah, same mission. Got two more rip-generators to go, and two more prisoner-cells to free. Yet to think of a way to see the invisible units, can't recall which upgrade I went with in the lab. >_>
