Currently relaxing after a morning of Star Ocean Last Hope, finally got past a part at the beginning, due to me not thinking D:. And waiting for someone from Iburst to come to talk about their offers so I can just get it and have my internet again.

Completed Heavy Rain today for the first time, now just relaxing and taking a breather.  And wishing it was raining here.

I spent the day with Graham, also pretended to be a teacher and marked some tests.

Yoyo~

I take it this is the new Members Chat? :P

Got an intense day ahead of me - 2x defect fixes from Friday, 3x game write-ups and code-builds this week (which means last one home).

As for this weekend's DotA comp game, we got DQ'd after building an illigal item (Pipe is not allowed). X_x Completely forgot about it til our opponents paused the game and told us about it. >_<

Yip, it is! Since it's a new forum I thought I'd give it a new name :D

DO'd? And what's a Pipe?
Speaking of DotA, when you get a chance can you please write up a DotA guide in the PC section? Something that's in depth in getting it up and running, what's needed, etc. I know it's help me personally as I'm clueless to it.
Would also like to get some LO Mag games running - like Quake, DotA, Counter-Strike etc.

"DQ", as in disqualified. >_< The Pipe protects the whole team against spells, which the organizers don't want as this forces your opponents to go for a more DPS strat.

Sure thing, I'll create one (with all 'em latest maps/patches links) when I get some time. :D

I didn't get to watch the Oscars - had a much more "interesting" evening...

Okay, so most of the regulars know that I'll be moving in with Rydia next month. We're busy rushing about buying things, sorting stuff and what not. A friend of ours will be renting the flat next to the house. The problem is that the kitchen area doesn't have a hot water tap, only cold, so we wanted to put one in.

So Rydia's brother and I layed out a plan how it needs to be fitted etc. I went there after work this evening and luckily he'd done half the job already. We then proceeded to fit the pipes, cement etc. Now, the flat doesn't have a geyser, only a speed heating system for the shower. We'd gotten hold of another (smaller) unit for the kitchen sink. We fitted everything, turned it on and good times were had all around!...not really...
Her brother sees that something is wrong; goes towards the unit and it explodes! Leaving him with a face full of boiling hot steam! Luckily he wasn't hurt. The force actually jolted the unit downwards and it blew a hole in the second shelf of the cupboard.

What went wrong?
The element has continued to super heat the water, which evaporated it all and turned it into a chamber full of pressurised steam. The quick release valve didn't do it's job and forced the steam to escape by any means necessary...blowing a hold in the chamber and then exploding the unit.

He's going to Brights tomorrow to demand a refund.

Note to everyone: Never! Ever! Use Speed Heat products! They're a local brand is shoddy as shit!

Gee. . Ok, thats pretty hectic. Glad he didnt get hurt. Could have been much worse. Sounds quite eventful I must say. Hope there's not to intense damage.
