The Black Cauldron - one of Disney's less well known films, and one I've wanted to see ever since I missed it as a kid...

Probably shouldn't have bothered I suppose, as its a pretty insipid effort. So-so animation, weak story, bad voice acting... meh...

Assassin's Creed: Embers
Picks up Ezio as a retired family-man. Was weird seeing him so old, but was also cool to see that he still could kick some ass. >_< lol

Watchmen - Tales of The Black Freighter
Man, this was way better than I was dreading. :P lol. The animation style was also pretty cool, esp loved the CG water. 8)

Thor: Tales of Asgard
Was a bit weird seeing Loki and Thor as kiddies, but was awesome seeing the Warriors Three. Felt disappointed that it wasn't a prequel to the recent live-action movie.

Sinbad: Legend of the Seven Seas
Oh man, this one totally owned. I've been meaning to watch it since I 1st saw the trailer years ago. Am really glad I finally got to watch it today. The mix of CG and animation is some of the best I have ever seen. Was pretty epic that the storyline wasn't as stupid as I feared it might be, for a movie so old. >_> :P lol. Gotta admit, almost brought a tear to my eye. 8)

Return of the Joker is my all time favorite animated Batman movie. Excellent choice, glad you enjoyed it.

^ Thanks dude.

Batman: Year One
Didn't particularly like the way Bruce Wayne was animated in this one, the rest of the characters seemed fine though - was weird. Seeing as Batman Begins also delt with his early years, I was worried this one might just be a repeat, glad to say it had it's own elements. For me, the best part was learning more of James Gordan's past - man, can he kick ass! lol

Green Lantern: Emerald Knights
1st off, I  was quite surprised to hear Castle doing the voice of Hal. :P 2ndly, the fight scenes in this one totally kicked ass. Learnt a lot of the other Lanterns, which was welcome - man, I now have way more respect for Kilowog. 8)

Dead Space: Aftermath
The CG portions were the most disappointing for me, it looked really cheap in some areas. :/ But thankfully there were anime bits too. They chose to do the story by four survivors retelling their accounts of what happened before their ship got overrun by 'em aliens. The dude going on about his dead daughter was wack, and what irritated me the most was that the rest of the crew didn't do enough to bring him to his senses.

Yup, there's a reason everyone loves Kilowog!

Emerald Knight is easily the best GL movie out there.

Finished Venture Brothers S4 - this show is just mental - love it!!!

Ultramarines - CG movie set in the Warhammer 40,000 universe. Pretty good CG, and an okay plot/story. Only issue I had is that the Ultramarines/Chaos Marines aren't exactly my favourite factions. Now if the Imperium had been up against the Tau or Necrons... (and seriously... when are Blizzard gonna organise Warcraft/Starcraft movies???)

Treasure Planet - awesome sci-fi version of "Treasure Island". Space-piraty goodness. (And I would totally go "furry" for Captain Amelia, heehee  :D).

Every now and then I'll stumble across something out-of-the-blue that totally freaks my bean. The Haunted World of El Superbeasto is just such a thing. Completely mental animated film from the mind of Rob Zombie, El Superbeasto is a luchador and exploitation film director, who fancies himself something of a superhero. When the stripper, Velvet von Black, is kidnapped by Dr Satan, it's up to El Superbeasto and his sexy sister, Suzi-X, to rescue her before her marriage to Dr S turns him into an invincible super-demon.

Rude, crude, gross, and very, very funny. Features two of my favourite things:- boobs and nazi zombies ;).

Hysterical rip-off of Conan type heroes, Korgoth of Barbaria was meant to be an Adult Swim series back in 2006. Sadly, only the pilot was made - and I'm stumped as to why it never made it any further - it's one of the funniest things I've seen in a while...

Archer - The ISIS organisation is probably one of the most inept of America's secret services. Self-centered master spy, Stirling Archer, is more interested in getting into the pants of whichever females happen to be on hand instead of performing his duties. It doesn't help that his over-bearing mother is head of ISIS, and thus on hand to cover his rear.

Over-the-top, but very funny spoof - kinda makes me think of the old Man From U.N.C.L.E. type comedies.
