I feel the same but I thought I needed to go to at least one game while it was here. It will probably be the only game I go to though.

Haven't been to any of 'em, no plans to go. Way too cold, and I'm not feeling well. X_x

@GL - Man, 2nd-half must've been like a dream. 8)

^ Oh, lol. >_<

Just caught the highlights of the 2nd-half during lunch - totally didn't consider how many opportunities Portual missed. Their score could have been so much more. :P

Awesome that we won the game, made it home for the 2nd half. ;) But that goal by France cut deep. X_x Didn't help either that Uruguay didn't do more damage to Mexico. >_> :P

It was expected. They didnt need to score more than 1, we could have and should have scored more against France though.

So three african nations (SA, Nigeria & Cameroon) out already :( and Algeria and Ghana playing today... things dont look well for us.

Even worse my support is split today when Ghana meet Germany I want both to go through but that is highly unlikely. :( I hope Australia & England both crash & burn though.

^ O_o

Am hoping for both England (my team >_<) and The US to make it thru in their group - which is possible if they both win. :P

We need more practice and more communication, but overall I think we did well in the match.

It was shameful that the French coach refused to shake hands.

This has me pretty miffed, just found out that Scholes isn't even on the England roster...
Quote
ENGLAND'S OFFICIAL 23-MAN ENGLAND SQUAD:
Goalkeepers: Rob Green, David James, Joe Hart.
Defenders: Rio Ferdinand, Ashley Cole, Glen Johnson, John Terry, Jamie Carragher, Stephen Warnock, Matthew Upson, Ledley King.
Midfielders: Gareth Barry, Michael Carrick, Joe Cole, Steven Gerrard, Frank Lampard, Aaron Lennon, James Milner, Shaun Wright-Phillips.
Strikers: Wayne Rooney, Emile Heskey, Jermain Defoe, Peter Crouch.
Left out: Bent, Walcott, Baines, Adam Johnson, Tom Huddlestone, Scott Parker, Michael Dawson.

Scholes was the main, and only reason, I'm rooting for England. Time to do some soul-searching. X_x

Capello wanted him included, but Scholes declined the offer. Carragher was another who came out of retirement to play.
