After this weekend's game, I'm now rooting for Germany all the way! 8)

*edit*
What's your guyz' opinion on introduing the use of technology to help the officials with decisions?

IMO, why hasn't it already been introduced. X_x They have it, but choose to ignore it. Such BS!!!

I've been wondering about this myself. Personally it's a must for any sport and encourages fair play.
If a referee is being bias then a TV ref can see what's going on. Running around on a field you only have limited range of vision.

They should just have it like in the old ISS Soccer Games where the ball explodes whenever you score a goal!

As I've mentioned in the "Whats Up" thread, I am currently on a mission to get tickets to the Saturday QF here in Cape Town in order to fulfil a life long dream of seeing the Germans play.

Well I managed to find a guy who is willing to sell me tickets (via the company noticeboards of all places {alt}
World Cup 2010 - Ke Nako!
). Thing is though he wants R5000 for 2 tickets, they are catergory 1 tickets but I could buy a decent pc for that price!

It is Germany vs Argentina and is pretty much a once in a lifetime chance but Im still hesitant :-\

Another option is to wait on my friend to see if he can organise a ticket for me, he will only find out the night before or on the day if he can, but it will be either for free or much cheaper but as its QF and Sold Out already, its unlikely.

I hate making decisions!

I know Im contemplating just paying the money, although I will really regret it if Germany lose. My sister hasnt been to game yet and she wants to go so may just buy the 2.

Also spent 3mins looking for the 'Recent Topics' tab as Alucard just moved it. {alt}

.

Update on tickets, I couldnt get any, still waiting on one more option but they will only let me know on the day, so have made plans to attend Hyundai fan park and hopefully robbed a few tourists on the way.

Yay! 4-0, more epic than I could have hoped.

Not gonna watch tonight's game, Spain have it in the bag. :P

Am insanely disappointed with the way Ghana got kicked out. X_x Left me speechless.

My weekend World Cup Adventure ;D
Being stuck in traffic for 3 hours in Cape Town heat - annoying
Having the car break down twice while stuck in traffic - emabarrasing/nerve-racking
Pushing your car on the freeway in said heat - exhausting
Dealing with probably one of the most retarted roadside-assist operators - infurriating
Getting to match late and missing 1st goal - upsetting
Sitting so squashed up that both your legs fall asleep by half-time - uncomfortable

Watching Germany trounce Argentina 4-f0rking-nil - PRICELESS 8)

@Alucard: I knw, thnx. Its just that one minmute it was there, then the next it wasnt!

^ Yikes, definitely one of the more "sour" experiences I've heard of. >_< Glad to read you managed to go in the end tho. ^^

As for the Spain game, seems I was mistaken - no where near the domination I was expecting. >_> Seems only Germany are that imba. :P lol
