A short clip for what is likely a new movie titled Mortal Kombat Rebirth has been making the rounds.

This is nearly 8 minutes long and features some notable actors like Jeri Ryan and Michael Jai White and it takes a more violent approach than previous Mortal Kombat films, but also makes a ton of nods to the video games along the way.

It looks pretty damn awesome though, I like the redesign of the characters as well. Interested to see what they do with the other characters and if they are from outworld.
