Let me say one thing first, as a fighting game fan get this damn game

even if you aren't really a fan of fighters due to the lack of content then this is a game for you. The game is huge an has loads of modes. There is tons of stuff to unlock from concept art, to fatalities to costumes. If will keep you going for quite some time. There is plenty of stuff to o in terms of single player, more than other other fighter on the next-gen consoles. The game allows for 1 an 2 players as well as 3 an 4 players. Yup you can have a 2 on 2 tag mode where 4 people can each control one of the characters. This is something I am hoping gets implemented with SFxT.
So for all those who are still undecided let me help you,You are not allowed to view links.

preorer that now :) you won't regret it.
So been jamming the game all night last night till the early mornings got some sleep an then got up an played some more :)
Great game, straight from the get go there is an option for anyone to jump in to from the ladder to the tower to the story mode. The game is very polished and you can see a lot of work was put in to the game especially the little additions added for the fans.
The ladder mode is the basic defeat the opponent and move on, there are 10 challengers to lay the beat down on and then you are given a short ending sequence followed by an unlockable that can be accessed through the extra's menu.
Then endings are really well one, I am very impressed with the artwork that was done with them. Has a very nice look to it. Capcom could learn a thing or two from this.
The main 2 bosses in ladder seem to be Kintaro and Shao Kahn both of which have super armor during the battles making it hard to get them locked in a combo at times. Apart from that it's just standard match ups.
Story mode is really great it does however not allow you to skip any cut-scenes which becomes pretty annoying if you keep going in an out. It auto-saves during this mode for you, mainly after ever fight. It's a great addition an goes through many acts with certain characters such as Scorpion, Smoke, Lui Kang, Sonya etc. This is really a great action an more fighters need to start taking this approach as well. The only other fighter with a story like this that comes to mind is Blazblue but I much prefer this one as it is not still pictures with pages an pages of text so it is easier to watch an get in to. I am currently on Act 7, each act covers a different character and have been told there are 16 acts in all.
It was also great that the developers kept with the time line an allowed us to play with Human Cyrax an Sektor. Very nice action.
The challenge tower is definitely the place that has kept me the most entertained, every match seems to be very different and no two challenges are quite the same. I am currently just passed the 100th challenge and it does get far more difficult as you progress. Again similar to story mode you progress up the tower with different characters which makes it quite interesting at times and quite frustrating as well. 1 on 2 is not a nice match lol. An awesome inclusion and looking forward to seeing what you get for completing this mode.
The stages are one of the best parts of this game everything is so alive and it never looks dull. The developers have put in so much work in these stages and you can see this by the little extra's they added such as their names being street names or MK posters/billboards in the background, really well done on the stages.
Now to the part everyone is most interested in, the fighting system. The best I have played in regards to any of the other MK titles. It really stands out. At first I though Kratos would be unbalanced but he is quite a balanced character and doesn't seem to over powered. Most of the cast is like this except for those few. For me the top person right now is Sonya, she is a bi**h to fight and really has some amazing moves in her set. Will get a better feel for character balance once the PSN is back up an running so until then will wait on that. However the fighting system is great and lets you link loads of moves and combo's together. The best MK system I have played by far.
The krypt is also a great place to go, this is where you will unlock costumes, concept art, fatalities etc. They really did a lot with this an I look forward to peoples reactions while they casually browse around the Krypt.
So just after about 10 or so hours with the game I can say that there is plenty to do and it is a great addition to the franchise and to fighting games. Looking forward to playing people online an seeing what people can come up with.
For the Kratos fans I am sure you will be happy with what the developers have added to him especially with regards to when Fatalities are performed on him, these little touches like this really make the game stand out above others in certain departments.
