You actually interviewed voice actors? How did you managed that?
Who did you interview?

Stoopid ears - kept falling off the helmet, so I ended up glueing 'em on too high.

Man, if only I had the money, I'd love to have a go at more complicated costumes.

(Sadly, the bazooka is no more - except for the breach block which was made of thick plastic card, and is currently being recycled into other projects).

Sjo, wanting to go back to where it all started? I first started Ballistic Animations I think in 1999 and that went for a few years before folding (R12/dollar). The concept LO MAG started some time later. I pulled in Ubersan at the time, because he was a designer, but we had different ideas on the project, so we parted ways. I contacted NAG and convinced them to put LO Magazine on the cover DVD. I did the first few issues on my own if I remember correctly. Then I got a few people on board to do sections (1 fan and 2 writers). I preferred to use writers, because they could write better and fans were a bit biased about their favourite anime. :) Hantoro (Wikus) wrote articles on Martial Art styles found in anime/manga (he was a script writer at the time) and Sakura who wrote one of the columns (she was studying journalism at the time) and a few other volunteers that came later (sorry of not remember all your names right now of my head, I will go and dig for the details).

There were lots of fan volunteers, but 99.9% of them never submitted anything. They were all eager, but when they have to product an article, it is quite difficult and not as easy as most thought. :)

Most people don't know and I don't mind speaking about it (wasn't allowed to at the time) that LO Magazine was almost printed by NAG (met the editor at Rage the one year), but that fell through. Still don't know why. He just stopped communicating. I still have the real prints I made for him of two of my issues. I printed them out in A5 format. :) When the new editor took over, he was anti-anime so my one article which always appeared in the magazine was removed. That peed me off so I decided to call it quits after 3 years.

Thats is all I can remember for now.

Who did you interview?

When I left high school I started an anime DVD distribution company, Todd's Entertainment Distribution, but I eventually closed it. Because of it I had contacts at both ADV Films and Bandai. Not anymore I'm afraid - those companies had a very high staff turn over.

Thanks to all for keeping LO alive all of these years.
