AniBlog Tournament

Some random internet otaku (lol, the kettle calling the pot black ::)) have setup this tournament with the intention of finding out who the top Anime Blog on the interwebz is. Now me being the sucker for polls/lists/competitions that I am is obviously interested in this.

Thought some people here may be interested as well. Its large in scale (96 entrants) but obviously there are many left off the list. Any way here is the intial draw:

Its a straightforward knockout structure whereby two blogs are pitted against each other and the winner is decided by a voting of the readers. Most votes progresses to the next round.

After a quick glance, I spotted a few of my favorite anime blogs, you guys would do well to vote for them.

I mostly traul them for info when Im doing research for my Preview Guides. Bokutachi is the only one I go to on a daily basis as I really like their style of humour & writing.

Round 1 isnt complete yet, its quite big and they only put up to matches a day. But here are a few blogs which I have ound as a result and they look quite interesting.

After looking through the vast majority of the blogs, most of them are pretty much different incarnations of the same thing. Of course each brings across a different opinion but nothing new a different.
The ones listed above are of the same kind, but they either add extra content (i.e. going beyond just anime) or have a distinctive style.

My Work has just (as of today) blocked all wordpress sites. So I cant follow the tournament at work anymore.

No, they didnt say anything... guess wordpress must have been generating alot traffic over the network.
